An Early Christmas

I can’t tell you how much I have loved the weather this week.  It has been cold and snowy and wonderful!  It snowed on Sunday for the first time this winter and it never really stopped.  School has been officially cancelled for the week and we’re starting vacation early!

They’re even saying that the next couple of days will be clear and cold and then another round of snow swings by.  I can’t remember the last time we had a white Christmas – I can’t remember one in all the years I’ve lived in Washington – and I am almost giddy with excitement.

In between working from home, playing with the kids and drinking hot cocoa, I decided to take a minute and document the occasion with a couple of pictures.

We thought we'd send some of our snow your way.:) I was beginning to wonder though if the snow had swallowed you up. So good to see a post and hear what's going on in that neck of the woods. Miss you all!

Yay! Good for you Chad. Your Christmas wishes have finally come true. Down here, we are hoping it stops snowing so we can drive to Cedar in a couple of days. Wish you were coming too!

You've been wishing for snow, and you got it! Before long, you may begin wishing that it would stop snowing. We have quite a bit here, too. The sun actually came out today, though, and it was wonderful. We were laughing at Summer's boots - way to go! Loved the pictures. We think the one of all of you would look good on our wall - we may have to go out and "grab" it. Love ya! Mom & Dad

Absolutely gorgeous pictures. I'm still working on perfecting my photography skills. It's going to take several years, but I'll get there.
On a side note: I love the cute picture of Summer in the snow. Too cute!
